Company Letterhead Format: What to Include (GSTIN, CIN, Address)

By Alphabet Technology · · 4 min read
Quick answer

A company letterhead should show your logo, the registered business name, full address, phone, email and website, and – where they apply – GSTIN, CIN (for companies) and LLPIN (for LLPs). Keep the header small, use your brand colour once, leave generous margins and put registration details in a slim footer.

What to include

  • Logo and business name exactly as registered.
  • Registered office address (and branch, if relevant).
  • Phone, email and website.
  • GSTIN if registered under GST.
  • CIN for private/public limited companies; LLPIN for LLPs.
  • Optional: QR code to your website or vCard.

Design tips

  • Header no taller than about 15% of the page.
  • One brand colour, used sparingly.
  • Registration numbers in the footer, small but legible.
  • A light logo watermark looks premium on certificates and offer letters.
